I pause to recognize the passing of one of the greatest athletes ever, he was a man of absolute conviction to his ideals, he risked his successful career to stand up for what is right, he was always an inspiration, a living icon and great role model to me.
He began training at 12 years old and won an Olympic gold medal as a light-heavyweight at 18 years. Three-time heavyweight boxing champion and Olympic gold medalist. One of his quote "I fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee".
He was my hero and I emulated him. A true legend has passed! A true loss!!!
May Almighty Allah (SW)shower him with his blesssigs and grant him Janatul firdows, Ameen.
