VOTER REGISTRATION

The second wave of voters registration starts on 1st July to 31st July . Please let us sensitize the public especially young people (youths) recently registered for Identification document (ID) to come out in large numbers and register as voters.

PRAYERS NEEDED FOR A COMPLETE HEALING AND RECOVERY!

Mosquito-borne disease, the Chikungunya and dengue fever cause similar symptoms, pose a much more realistic threat to the innocent people of Mandera County. Chikungunya is a viral disease transmitted to humans by infected mosquitoes. It causes fever and severe joint pain. Other symptoms include muscle pain, headache, nausea, fatigue and rash.  The symptoms can last for months!

Please pray for me I'm down with Chikungunya.

Truly the end of an era...
Inna lilahi waina ilaahi rajicuun! I would like to send my deepest condolences and thoughts to his family at this time.

I pause to recognize the passing of one of the greatest athletes ever, he was a man of absolute conviction to his ideals, he risked his successful career to stand up for what is right, he was always an inspiration, a living icon and great role model to me.

He began training at 12 years old and won an Olympic gold medal as a light-heavyweight at 18 years. Three-time heavyweight boxing champion and Olympic gold medalist. One of his quote "I fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee".

He was my hero and I emulated him. A true legend has passed! A true loss!!!

May Almighty Allah (SW)shower him with his blesssigs and grant him Janatul firdows, Ameen.

With the month of ramadan starting after three days, I reach out to all my love one's, family and friends. Please forgive me for any harm or sorrow that I may have brought upon you in order for me to have a ramadan Mubarak.

Ramadan is one of the most important holidays for Muslims. This marks the ninth month of lunar calendar in Islam. This month is regarded as the period of fasting for many Muslims all around the world. During this month, Muslims abstain from drink, physical needs and food. This is the period whereas Muslims dedicate themselves in purifying their souls, repent on their wrongdoings, observe self-sacrifice and devote their attention to Allah. With a heart filled with love and peace, wishing that Allah forgive us for our wrong doings. Let this holy month brings to our life the most essential. Let's make this Ramadan our best ever Insha'Allah. This month is a blessing month. May this ramadan bring joy, health and wealth to you. I love you all for the sake of Allah. Have a GREAT and awesome Ramadan! Ameen!
